New Semester Faculty & Instructor Guides

Dear Faculty, Adjuncts, Instructors and Graduate Assistants,

IMPORTANT: Please be aware that some of our offices have relocated. Video and event services are now located in the Faculty Center at the Marriott Library. Our classroom installation service is now located in FMAB.  

Welcome to another semester at The University of Utah! We have several items for this semester:

  1. Please feel free to visit our New Semester Canvas Checklist. where you will find reminders and tutorials for course activation, cross-listing courses, publishing courses, classroom technology needs, exam services and much more.
  2. For help with course design and educational technology, please email to schedule an appointment with an instructional designer.
  3. If you plan on using audiovisual equipment in any of your classes this semester, please visit the Classroom A/V Checklist. Please note that our A/V Service Desk has moved and is now located in MLIB 1705.
  4. Please visit the Canvas Tutorial Videos. (Instructors section) to learn more about how to use Canvas.
